HENDERSONS of TN & GA, HAMMONDS OF NC & GA

1) I am trying to find information on WILEY HENDERSON who was born about 1807 in, I think, Tennessee. He was married to RACHAEL/RACHEL WATERS who was born abt. 1808 in South Carolina. In 1870 they were living in Griffin,Spalding Co., Georgia.

2) Also looking for information about DAVID WATERS who resided in Abbeville District, SC. I believe he was the father of Rachael/Rachel Waters. He was a South Carolina Patriot in the American Revolutionary War. He was living in Georgia with his daughter Rachael and her husband Wiley Henderson when he died in 1844 at the age of 105. He had other children besides Rachael, specifically Mary Waters(Phillips) and Thomas Waters. I do not kow the name of his wife who predeceased him. I am trying to determine if there is a connection between the Bell family (specifically David Bell) and the Waters family.

3)I am also searching for information concerning John Hammond of Robeson County, NC, the father of Norfleet, Enoch, Elijah, Harvey, Arenith, Samuel, Jacob, John, Christian, Elias, Stradford and Helen Hammond. I believe John Hammond was born between 1740 and 1747. There are two stories about him. One story said he the son of a white indentured slave named Ann and a black slave named Robin who was owned by Drummond Hill. The other story is that he is related to the Lumbee Indians of North Carolina when English settlers came to America and intermarried with Lumbee Indians. John Hammond married Christine Stradford. He died abt 1811.
