I have confirmed that the person married and buried with Verna is Harold Henry Ashman Collings – my grandfather. Around 1930 he started changing his birth year and birthplace.
The 1942 SS Application #361186740 shows the correct parents but the incorrect birthdate and place
I have his Obit in the Galesburg newspaper and letters to my mother from lawyers concerning his estate.
