Descendants of Doswell Rogers Born 1736
It is posted here that the descendants of Doswell Rogers lived, were born, or died in Henry Co. VA. That is a mistake made years ago. It can be documented that this Rogers family were living in Pittsylvania Co. VA. They ran with the Longhunters like Elisha Walling and married into that family several times. From Pittsylvania Co. VA they crossed over the Blue Ridge Mts. several years before Henry Co. VA was created from Pittsylvia Co. VA.
I have this documented. I have been working on this Rogers family since 1968 and can correct many of the old incorrect statements.

A relative posted incorrect data here for my ancestor Doswell Rogers. I have done DNA tests to prove that the father of Doswell Rogers is NOT named Thomas nor is his grandfather named John. How do I get this corrected?

I accidently hit send twice on one of my two messages to your member known as krogers647.
This krogers647 has many mistakes cited on the Rogers page and I will never be able to correct all of them. So, I sent only two messages of corrections. I have worked on this Rogers family for over 50 years and published my early findings in a book DESCENDANTS OF DOSWELL ROGERS back in 1976. However, there are a few errors in the book and even more research that is not in the book which I have now researched and corrected which krogers647 does not have corrected.
