Hi there,
I am researching the Martin's and Cupit's in the Nottingham and Derbyshire, England, areas.
My reasearch so far has got me back to 1791 when my ggg.grandfather was born.
After this I have a great deal of info. but nothingh to link them to Austin/Augustine Cupit.
I know his father was Austin Cupit but which one, there were a lot of Austin's in the Cupit families.
My grandmother was Emma Cupit.
Her father was Samuel Cupit.
His father was Edward Cupit.
and his father was Austin Cupit married to Elizabeth marriott (who died ) then Elizabeth Chapman.
The relationship with the Cupit's began with my grandfather Henry Martin who married Emma Cupit.
And that is another story.

I have now made made up the Cupit connection to William and Alice married in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, England.
in the 1600's
This is as far back that I think I can go.
I am now researching Alfred Martin born 1836 married to Harriott Smith born 1841 line ( which will be difficult) and John Martin born 1796 married to Mary ??? he then married Ann Hebb born 1802.
If anyone has reaseached any records of these I would be very thankfull.
