Daniel married Sarah Catherine Thornton b. 1808 in SC, First child Alexander B 1834 in Alabama. Second child Richard born 1836 in Alabama.
Third child Harriet Henderson B 15 Oct 1837 in MS.
Fourth child Nathan born 1839 in MS
Fifth child (my ancestor) Benjamin F Henderson b. 3 Nov 1842 in MS. He married Lydia Nichols.
I believe the Thornton family to have been Quakers. Henderson Men married Thornton girls for several generations.
My grandmother Henderson's grandmother was a Thornton, never wore lipstick or fancy cloths. She went with my mother and her daughters to a movie on a Sunday and when leaving was brushed by a bus. She said that was God's way to letting her know that movies on Sunday was bad.
