I am trying to find any information about Esther Craigs.All I know is that she married William Wood(Woodd) on 29.12.1750 in South Shield.Northumberland,UK.I cannot trace her date or place of birth,despite looking under the names of Craigs,Craggs,Crage and Craig.They had the following children:Elizabeth b.1753,William b.1755,Jonathan b.1757,James b.1759,Joseph b.1762,Catherine b.1764,George b.1766 and Susannah b.1769.Any information would be gratefully received.

I am looking for information regarding Robert Dent(no info re date/place of birth).He married Maria Lowe 1/10/1761 or 1762 at St Michael's Cornhill,London.To the best of my knowledge they had two sons: John Peter Dent bp St. Michael's,Cornhill on 27/3/1765 and Johannes Digby Dent bp St George the Martyr,Southwark.It was previously thought that Johannes had been born 1773 Newcastle,but there is a definite link to that area,as his spouse,Margaret Robson came from there.Their eldest child,Robert was born in Newcastle in 1799,then the family returned to Holborn,London,where several more children were born.If anyone could enlighten me as to Robert's dob and place of birth,plus any details of Maria's background it would be very helpful.Johannes is a bit of a mystery...is he related to the Digby Dents of the naval family?So far I am unable to find a link,but his son William also has the middle name of Digby,which makes me wonder if it is a family name.I would be very grateful for any information as I have hit a brick wall.Thank You.
