I was born in Iowa however have lived in Oregon now for 35 years. Both my parents have family that lived in Iowa so that is an important state for me to research.

I have fallen in love with researching my family tree. I consider myself a newbie. Have been researching since 2007.

Also, I love reading genealogy blogs. They provide valuable information for research tips.

Someday I hope to attend a genealogy seminar.
