unclaimed urns at WAIKUMETE T-V
READ PAGE A for information on what this posting is about.
Auckland Council provided Native Affairs with the names of the 1800 people but, as you will see at the above link, they do not contain any ages or other identifiable info, which is why I have expanded the list here to help you recognise any possible ancestors. Each and every person has been individually researched; using BDM, Papers Past, the cemetery database, family trees or any other means which revealed some of the names (spelling) or dates, differ slightly from the list - this is pointed out on each.
. NOTES .
* lack of time means I have not looked for all maiden names, nor to link all parents or partners, but will come back to edit from time to time.
* same surnames grouped together does not necessarily mean they were related.
* dates could be of death or burial
* my edits & additions will be obvious
* further info may be found Waikumete Cemetery on Find A Grave
