Hi ~ I am researching my grandmother's line. Her name was Evalena Maynard. Her father was Wayne Maynard who was married to Sarah Jane Bays. They were living in the Marble Falls, Texas area, I believe, when Wayne died and my grandmother was around 10 years old - which would have been about 1902-1903. I can't locate any death records for him. My grandmother and her younger sister soon moved to East Texas with their older sister. I believe their brother, Marcus Lafayette Miller, moved to Kleberg, Texas where he died in 1978.

But according to the information I've uncovered about Wayne's parents & siblings, we have a lot of identical facts. I have his parents listed as John Jerrall & Martha Vashti Damron, with siblings of T (could be Thomas), Virginia, Hessie, Mattie & Ola. I haven't found any reference to a Sampson.

I would love to compare notes to see if we are researching the same line of Maynards.
