What I want for 2011

Journal by kathleenc

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! This year I have a list of things I want to accomplish:
1. To find the truth behind the Cole Mitchell family (you'll have to check out my journals to see what I mean!)
2. To find Patrick and Mary Guinty (Ginty, Mcginty....) and their ancestors.
3. To find info on Elizabeth Piper, and fill in that part of my tree.
4. To find Mary Margaret Jane Davis, and fill in her ancestors.
5. Basically, to climb every wall I have on my tree!
This is my wish for everyone in my FTC group, and if anyone needs help, please feel free to ask. I love a challenge!

I'm also researching Guyton, Cole, McAlister lines. Just starting on the GUINTY, SNODGRASS, PIPER line on my father's line. My ancestors came from England, Ireland, Scotland. They settled in Massachussetts, Kansas, Mississippi, Virginia, North Carolina. I have also been researching the Manning line on my fathers side. The Sanders line is nearly complete, exept the large wall between William Aaron and his ancestors (Thanks to DNA evidence disproving a large part of my work, and the work of others!). Would love to hear from any distant cousins I have out there!

I hope you succeed in all your genealogy goals listed. Some of mine have taken years and I've not yet gotten there yet and maybe I never will with some of them.

But I have made some very interesting connections sideways in the tree and found many descendants along the way.

Thanks for the encouragement. This is a fascinating hobby we have (or should I say obsession!). I have also made great progress, but I have a long way to go. You can view my tree at My Family.com, I found a free way in through my Sanders Family association. It's under Guinty-Sanders tree. I am constantly updating it (and correcting it!). Much luck to you in the new year. Love, K
