where are they buried?

Question by budeee

I am trying to locate the exact burial spot of some of my ancestors, i know from newspaper clippings they were buried at the catholic cemetry in cygnet Tasmania.
I have contacted the local priest who could not tell me, he suggested i try the catholic church in Hobart, still no luck i contacted the council they dont have records either.I also contacted the funeral directors and they have never bothered to answer me back My aunts/uncles have told me they went to some of these funerals at the cemetry, i did find out that there was an accident years back with a truck which destroyed a row of headstones this is where we think my ancestors are buried. We have searched and searched but can find nothing. Would anyone know how i can try and get records of their actual burial spots. Thank-you......Kaye
