George Henry (AKA Harry) Born 17th November 1859 Passed away 30th March 1944 and is Buried at Caramut Cemetery.

He married Agnes Effie De Little in June 1889. In 1889 Effie contracted tuberculosis and was visiting Stawell, when she died of the disease on the 22nd April 1901 aged 38.
Agnes Effie is buried with her husband George at the Caramut Cemetery.

George and Effie had Four (4) children:

i Henry Eric Pages 180, 190, 192, 193 194
ii Roy Ernest
iii Nancy Effie and
vi Leonard

Henry Eric (AKA Eric)
Born: 13th October 1890 South Yarra, Victoria.
Obtained Rank Second Lieutenant 8th Australian Light Horse Regiment Service No 545 at Gallipoli
Awarded the 1914/15 Star
The British War Medal
The Victory Medal
He was killed in action at The Nek at Walkers Bridge Gallipoli Ottoman Empire the 7th August 1915 Aged 24.
Eric's name is located at Panel 6 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial
To Commemorate a final resting place his family erected a memorial stone over his father and mothers grave at Caramut Cemetery
