- she is buried with him in Linwood Cemetery, Christchurch
- Wilfred and Edith emigrated into Auckland on the Glenlora which left London on the 3rd August 1880, arriving in Auckland on the 29th October 1880 (not known at this time if they disembarked at Auckland or if the barque continued on to Christchurch) - with them were their 1st two sons, Bryan and Ronald

- he worked for the Christchurch City Council as an Examiner of Accounts
- he married Jane Graham
- she was born 1887 in Crieff, Scotland, came to New Zealand as an 8 year old, died aged 82 on 12th Oct 1959, 13 years after Bryan. She was living at 192 Bealey Ave (which was converted in 1996 into a Printmaking Studio - she is buried with Bryan in PLOT 70, BLOCK 21 at Ruru Lawn Cemetery
Ronald Smith Badger, born 4th Feb 1880 in
Grovedale Cottage, Moorgate Road, Rotherham, Yorkshire, England
- arrived on the GLENLORA as an infant
- he died on 18th Sep 1946 aged 66
- was living at 39 Hawkesbury Ave, St Albans, Christchurch (now town houses)
- he was a Real Estate Agent
- he married Sylvia Winifred Eames
- she was born 22nd Feb 1893 in Christchurch to Augustus "GUSS" Webber Eames
(NZ Government Audit Inspector) and Martha Eqerton Corker
- Sylvia died 28th Feb 1950 aged 63
- she is buried with Ronald in PLOT 63, BLOCK 19 at Ruru Lawn Cemetery
Edith Christine Smith Badger, born 24th Oct 1881 on the corner of Vogel Street & Stanmore Road, Richmond, Christchurch (now shops)
- she married Charles Reginald Ford (explorer, land agent, architect) on 2nd Sep 1908. He was born in 1880 in England, second son of Charles Matthew Ford, a butler, and his wife, Ellen Catherine McDonald
- they had 3 children
- Edith died aged 55 on 2nd Nov 1937, buried Block E - Row 39 - Plot 018A of Purewa Cemetery
- Charles remarried in Auckland on 10th July 1939 to Daphne Jessie Dannefaerd - he was then 59 and she was 35
- he died aged 92 on 19th May 1972 - his ashes are buried with Edith
- (Daphne died on 27th Feb 1987 aged 84 and was cremated at Purewa)
Wilfred Smith Badger, born 1883 in Linwood, Christchurch
- he married Ella Marion Gibb - was she a sister of Harriet Elizabeth Gibb who married Wildred's brother John Smith Badger
- Wilfred died 8th Sep 1944 aged 80, buried at Old Gorge Cemetery Woodville, Manawatu
- Ella died in 1963, aged 79 - she is also at Woodville
Eric Smith Badger, born 1885 in Linwood, Christchurch
- married Gwendoline Isabel Mary Lamb
- in 1915 he was farming at BULLS in the Manawatu
- died 29th March 1969, buried at Ashhurst with his wife
- Gwendoline was born 13th Feb 1892 to Archelaus and Mary Anne (nee Fyffe) Lamb, Gwendoline died 13th May 1972 at Wellington aged 80.
Her brother Oswald married Eric's sister Kathleen

- he married Harriet Elizabeth Gibb, possibly in Christchurch as at least one child was born there
- in 1915 they were farming in Ashhurst, Manawatu
- he died in 1971 aged 80 in Hamilton, Waikato - burial unknown
- Harriet was born in 1892 to John Gibb and Mary Ella Powell
- she died in 1968 aged 75 in Hamilton, Waikato - burial unknown
Archibald "LIONEL" Smith Badger, born 18th Dec 1892 in Gloucester St, Linwood, Christchurch
- he was on the Christchurch staff of the Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation (name changed to Commercial Union Group then National Mutual then AXA New Zealand)
- he made several attempts to enlist with the NZEF from the beginning of the war but was rejected because of his eyesight. He finally managed to pass the doctors and left for Trentham Training Camp (photos at that link) in June 1915 with the Special Infantry Force as a Rifleman, Serial Number 24/39, with the New Zealand Training Unit
- he died on the 4th July 1915 (3 months before his father) at the
Trentham Racecourse Camp (article at end of that link)
- he was buried in PLOT 125P - PUBLIC2 SECTION of the Karori Cemetery Wellington on the 6th July 1915
Kathleen Aldam Smith Badger, born 1895 in Linwood, Christchurch
- in 1915 she was still in Christchurch, not married
- Kathleen died Xmas Day 1988 aged 93 in Auckland, her ashes are buried PLOT 095 ROW 32 BLOCK J at Purewa Cemetery
- she married Oswald Fyffe Lamb
- he was born 1894 to
Archelaus Lamb and Mary Ann Fyffe
- he was a brother of Gwendoline Lamb, above, who married Kathleen's brother Eric
- he died 25th Oct 1959 aged 65. His ashes are buried with her
