William Early from Ireland, where is he?

Journal by Curiosity7

Hello all,

I was Born in Essex, England (year: 1958) to an Irish father and English mother.

I'm currently attempting to trace my Irish father, William Early, who lived in Kilburn, London during the mid to late 1950's and possibly even into the 1960's, or later?

William (aka Bill) worked in Kent, near to Gravesend, on the Northfleet Power Station as a Navvy (nowadays known as a Construction Worker) and used the Tilbury to Gravesend ferry to get to and from work.

He had a friend called Tim, and together they would frequent the bar within the Ship Hotel at Tilbury for a drink on their way home. This is where William met my mother Jean who worked and lived in the Hotel.

Over the last three years or so, I have had several DNA tests carried out in an attempt to help me trace William. According to several laboratories in the UK and USA, my Y-DNA Haplogroup is R-M222 which is considered to be ancient Irish and currently believed to be associated with Niall No?g?allach (aka: Niall of the Nine Hostages).

I'm still searching!

Thanks for reading,
Stephen.
