William Gill/Hewitt b. Oxfordshire England abt 1753
William Gill, alias Hewitt b. abt 1753/4 Oxfordshire England was trialed and convicted at The Old Bailey for violent theft>highway robery 11th April 1804. The original punishment death, was reduced to transportation for a life term to Australia. William Arrived in the year 1809 aboard the ship "Duke Of Portland". I have a lot of information on William's life in Australia that I would like to share and hope to find more about his Parents etc. back in England.

I also have not had any luck finding William's parents but would like to know more about William and alice/elizabeth williams who never married but had a baby girl named Lydia. Any info would be great.
