Mrs Salmons, who was 72 years of age, came to New Zealand from England in 1874 with her parents, Mr and Mrs S. T. Parsons, living first at Silverstream, then at Ohariu Valey, and finally taking resience 45 years ago in Levin. She is survived by three daughters, Mesdames A. R. RANSOM, J. T. OAK and W. H. BIGNAL and two sons, Messrs W. S. and L. R. SALMONS, all of Levin
