Elizabeth Mary Braggins/Raison is in my tree - a distant relative of my husband. William Henry Morris is there too and, I see, in a few other people's trees as well.
A number of people have William being born in Wellington, New Zealand, but I haven't been able to find any proof of that. I guess you are the same?...
So, sorry I can't help with William but do have quite a lot on the Braggins family.

thanks i have got lots on the braggins and raisons .. i doubt that william was born in nz although his birth cert says he was. william's son leonard married my wifes 1st cousin once removed. he was born 1848 according to the headstone in greytown although i have seen some trees saying wellington in 1852

My mother is the Great grandaighter of Elizabeth Mary and William Henry Morris. As my mother is very much into her geneology, she has been studying this for a while, but has also struggled to find out much about William Morris. According to the information she has been given, he was born in Wellington, his father was Reginald Morris and his mother Amy. My mother has been told by family members (now deceased) that they were Welsh.

Isabella May Morris (William Henry Morris' daughter) is the eldest child of Elizabeth Mary and William Henry Morris and is my mother's paternal Grandmother. Isabella's half sister, Georgina Eliza Raison,(parents being Elizbeth Mary Braggins and Joseph Raison), was my mother's maternal grandmother.

William was my great grandfather, our father told us that the Morriss family came from Scotland. We were told that William had a brother who went to Australia and that he was a doctor, and that William went to New Zealand.
