William PILCHER born c1801 Shipborne, Kent, UK

The only information I have is from the 1841 census showing him as a farmer living at Back Lane Farm, Shipborne which is near Tonbridge or Malling. It shows him as born c 1801 but doesn't list where he was born. He had a son William who is my GG grandfather. He had no wife at this time as she died in 1839. She was Mary Chatfield whom he married at Brook.nr Ashford on 12/2/1820. I can trace his wife further back. I have come to a full stop with him and can't get any further back. Can anybody add any further information?.

My William Pilcher is shown in the 1841 census as a farmer living at Back Lane Farm, Nr Tonbridge but doesn't say where he was born. He married Mary Chatield on 12/2/1820 in Brook , Nr Ashford and they had a son WILLIAM Pilcher who was christened in Shipbourne on 22/12/1830
