"Williams-Missing Ancestors!"

Journal by gawright1

After 30 plus years of researching my Williams line, I had a lot of luck in 2006. I found that my great-grandfather could not be found because his middle initial was interpreted differently in various situations. Since changing that approach, I found his parents and brothers and sisters.

Liberty (X,F,H,L) Williams was born in 1832 in St. Charles County, Missouri. His father(Thomas Sheldon Williams) was born in Lincoln County, KY around 1803 and died on the way to the Gold Rush around 1850.

His mother was Elizabeth Green Burnham and was born in Eastern Tennessee ca 1806.She died in Iowa ca 1893.
Liberty's first wife was Clendorah Lloyd. His second wife was Leity (Lydia) Paul. She was my ggm and was supposedly an Indian. She died in I.T. in 1893.

Paul's Valley in what was the old Cherokee Nation may be named after your Paul Family.
