Williams/ Pethybridge Family- Australia and New Zealand

I am looking for info on Alfred Williams born 23/7/1887, place unknown. He was married to Mary Jane Pethybridge born 23/12/1891. Mary was born in Mt Morgan QLD Australia, so there is a fair chance that Alfred was also born in Australia. They moved to NZ in 1916 and lived in Auckland. I believe that there are also relatives in Tauranga and recall stories of this part of the family being involved with the local fishing industry.

Found 1892 registered birth of Mary Jane Pethybridge. Is it the same one you are referring to, i.e. with parents Richard Pethybridge and Emma Parker?

Re - Alfred WILLIAMS possibly being born in Queensland, there are 54 search results for an Alfred Williams being born between 1829 and 1914. Narrowing down the search field for 'Alfred Williams' born between 1880 and 1890 reveals 10 matches. Have a look.
