Williamsons of the Far North(Awanui).

Journal by Kaiata

Hi to all. This all started years ago,the bucket list, finally got around to doing it,that is rebuilding an old picket fence around a grave site on my farm. C H Williamson. He was the son of Issac and Ellen Ann née Mathews, had 5 sisters and 2 brothers,Richard never married and Marquis drowned at the same age 19. Rachael and Margarita never married. Elizabeth married a John Franklin Eves ?? , Sophia? may have married a Henry Jones and Alice may have married a Mr Draper. I think Alice had a son Gilbert Howard Glover Williamson who married in Australia and returned and was a bricklayer in Auckland. He had some daughters,Claire,Marjorie and maybe a Miss D C Williamson. I think Marjorie became a Mrs Tyer. Howard was the father in law of ______ and Graeme and the grandfather of Carolyn and _____?. He lived in Mt Albert Auckland. Howard and his wife Jessie Evelyn are buried at waikumete cemetery. I was wanting to find any descendants of the Williamson family just to know if they knew that some of there relations are up here. If anyone can help with this please contact me. Thankyou very much .

I am researching my Grandfather Earl Williamson. I think he was from Antrim County.
