My mother's family name was Wilson. This Wilson family original lived in Northern Ireland in the Antrim or Derry area. They came first from Ireland to Quebec, Canada. William Wilson, born about 1813 came from Ireland and was one of the first farmers in the Frampton area of (Lower Canada) - now Quebec. William's wife was Margaret Henry who was born in May 1820 in the parish of St Joseph-de-la-point-Levy, in Lauzon, Lower Canada (now Quebec). This area is close to Quebec City.

William Wilson and Margaret Henry had 11 children- all of them were born in Lower Canada (now Quebec:
1) Ann Wilson- (1845-1866)- She was born and died in Quebec
2) Mary Wilson- (1850-1877)- She was born and died in Quebec
3) George Wilson (1851-1936- He moved to Vermont, USA
4) James Wilson (1852-1876)- He was born and died in Quebec.
5) John Wilson (1852-1875)- He moved to Minnesota
6) Mary Wilson (1856-1881)- She was born and died in Quebec
7) William "Henry" Wilson (1857-1879)- He was born and died in Quebec
8) Ellen Wilson- (1859-1908)- She moved to New Hampshire, USA
9) Ann Wilson- (1866-1932)- She moved to New Hampshire as well.
10) Bridget Wilson- (1864-1866) She also moved to New Hampshire
11) Sarah Wilson- I have no information on her.

John Wilson was the only child that moved to Minnesota. He married Anna McElgunn in 1855 Quebec. They had 12 children
1) Mary Wilson- (about 1882- she moved to High Forest, MN with her parents. She died just after her marriage with her first child.
2) Kathryn Wilson (1877-1962)- Catherine moved with her parents to High Forest, Minnesota.
3) William Charles Wilson (1875-1959)- He moved to Minnesota with his parents.
4) Anna Theresa Wilson (1881-1963) She moved with her parents to High Forest
5) Margaret Wilson (1883-1974). She was the first of John and Ann's children to be born in Minnesota.
6) John Henry Wilson (1886-1973)- He was born in Minnesota and moved to settle on land in Saskatchewan in 1911.
7) Ellen "Nellie" Wilson- (1887- Ukn) She was born and died in Minnesota
8) Francis Ambrose Wilson- (1890-1969)- He was born and died in Minnesota
9) George Arthur Wilson (1891-1984) He followed his brother to settle in Saskatchewan in 1912
10) Walter Wilson- (1893- Unk)
11) Agnes Wilson (1895-1974)- She was born and died in Minnesota.
12) Clarence Timothy Wilson (1898-1966) He was born and died in Minnesota
