My ancestor Elisabeth Yendall b. 1679 in Clatworthy, Somerset, married John Huish on Jun 10 1702.

Her parents were Thomas Yendall and Elianor Tyler.

Thomas Yendall was born 06 Dec 1645 in Clatworthy, SOM; married Elianor Tyler on May 12 1667 in Clatworthy, and died there in 1674.

His parents were John Yendall b. approx 1615 and Mary (surname unknown).

John`s exact birthdate is unknown, but I have presumed his death to be around 1665 from a burial entry in the St Mary Magdalene, Clatworthy Parish Records for 20 Aug 1665: John Yendall (a senior) Also, the only relevant marriage record I can find for John Yendall is to Agnes Way on 05 May 1637. I don`t know yet whether this is the same John and if this was his first wife or whether the name Mary was misread in Parish transcripts...
