YOUNGS-unsure of origin

Journal by Mollib

The last or oldest YOUNG known is/was Michael b. 1755 in NC, I was told.
His brother Godfrey was born NC. We found a brother John, and a sister Christina [called Jenny]
They lived either in Pulaski Co., Ky or in a county near.

I was told that they were German origin. I can find no evidence of this or anywhere for that
matter. Anyone recognize this family? There is another Michael YOUNG who should not be
confused with this one. Michael married Margaret ALDRIDGE.

Have you looked at census records? If you work your way back, and look at birth,
marriage, and death records you can connect these family members, and you will
learn where your relatives came from.

When someone is born in 1755 I don't know how to find a census. I know a Michael Young was in the1790 census, but no help.
I need to come upon a brother. I think I will investigate a couple of known sons. Thanks.

Have checked census records back to1800. I did find this one on Carolina, however, without more info in records, it isn't that helpful.
cannot travel to that state, funds are limited.
