Here is some information that I have found on your people of interest. William Zabel is August Friedrich Wilhelm "William" Zabel B: August 1849 in Schonlanke, Prussia, immigrated in 1862, D: 1921 and was a farmer. He was buried in Saint John Lutheran Cemetery in Budsin, Marquette County, WI. He married Caroline "Gussie" Hollender in 1870. She was B 26 May 1850 Budsin, Marquette County, WI. D: 1 December 1929 and buried with her husband, as above. Their kids are, Paul 1891-1975, Clara 1895-1978, Henry 1888-1960, Albert H 1872-1942, Fred A 1873-1959, Ida Alvina 1881-1956, Reinhold 1884-1939. There may be more. William's father is Christian H. Friedrick Zabel or G. H. Friedrick Zabel, B: 1821 Prussia D: 27 May 1877, burial, same as son William. This information I got was from US Census records and find a grave information. 1880 Census records mention William's mom as Mina, B: around 1818. It may be Wilhelmina. Some research shows the last name could be kroeger, Krueger but I'm not finding anything for sure and the cemetery where the rest of the family is buried, I couldn't find her.

Caroline's father was Friedich Wilhelm Hollender B: 23 May 1819 in Germany, D: 13 April 1899 in Marquette County, WI and buried at Saint Johns Lutheran Cemetery in Budsin, Marquette County, WI. Mother is Anna Christina Werner B: 3 December 1825 Germany, D: 11 August 1911 Oxford, Marquette County, WI, buried at the same cemetery. Their children are, Gustave Friedrich 1847-1907, Caroline 1850-1929, William 1855-1936, Julius 1863-1927, and Emil R. 1868-1952.

Anna Werner's Mother is Eva Rosine I. Schrandt Werner B: 6 April 1800 D: 9 June 1879 buried at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Emerald Township, MN. Her husband Johan Jacob Werner B: 24 Nov 1800 D: 27 August 1876, buried at same place as Eva. Their children are Anna Christina 1825-1911, John 1832-1887, Charles 1836-1883, August 1837- 1911, and Augusta Friederika 1842-1913. This information, again was taken from find a grave. I hope this helps.
