I am searching the Peter JLRoberts line for 30 plus years. He was born in Washington Co NY around 1790. He married Mary Sweet in NY around 1818. He lived in Steuben Co ny before going to Gallia Co OHio around 1820. His son Leland married a Mary B Terry around 1845...she was the daughter of David Terry and Mary(Mariah) Robertz of Gallia Co OH. Her parents were Peter and Pamala(permelia) Roberts. We have been researching who this Peter is and his ancestors.. Does the Peter JL Roberts and this other Peter have a common ancestor. My gut feeling is yes but I have no proof. Also who is the father of Mary Sweet that married Peter JL.? I have traced many sweets in eastern NY but with no success. Help me I hope to solve this mystery before I die and I'm going into the second half of my eighties.
