I remember seeing a story of some people traveling by flatbottom boat
on the Ohio River from Pennsylvania,Maryland,and Virginia.Some of the
names I'm searching for are : SCOTT,McCLURE,PURCELL,DECKER,and DOUTHIT.These ancestors migrated to Ohio,Kentucky,Indiana and Illinois.My ancestor were making there way to Indiana in the early 1800's.

Oct. 23,1842 in Vincennes,Knox Co.,IN.(He was my Paternal Great Great Great Great Grandfather.His name is on a monument in the Upper Indiana Presbyterrian Church Cemetery,Knox Co.,IN. Revolutionary War Pennsylvania Militia To Honor This Family Of Patriots and Pioneers buried here.)Some sur-name off my SCOTT's are :
