This Frederick Barnes brn Exning Suffolk 1842, married Eliza Chapman Melton Dec 1865, in Norfolk. We know they had six children. We think we have found Frederick on one single census 1861 with his parents and siblings aged 9yrs, in Soham, Cambs. His Parents are John Barnes (Burwell)c1800 and Elizabeth King c1800 (Isleham). So far we have not been able to locate Frederic Barnes on any further census, with parents or his wife. We do know they were in Caistor Lincs in 1872 and were listed as living in Scopwick. From census records of eliza we know they moved to B'ham. But no Frederic anywhere we know like his father he was a bootmaker/shoemaker. If anyone one has any information no matter how trival please please let us know. one added thing apparently Frederic had a thing for calling himself Charles......
