looking for any connection to Marshall family in va. John served in confed. army in prince william rifles. married Annie Pierson dau of caleb pearson. moved to alexandria by 1880. one son Thomas, one dau Rachel. any info welcome.

looking for info on 3 sisters born in ireland arrived in phila with parents john and eliza O'connor in early 1850's. two brothers born in philly. Richard and William. worked in cotton mills in pa in 1860 and 1870, census. lost track of them and father after 1888 when mother died. Father not buried with mother. why not known. any leads helpful.

Edward and Ann Roberts and 1 daughter Emma to New York on may 3 1843 and proceded to have 5 other children.James,Joseph,Elizabeth,Edward and Richard Henry. all born in New York. Edward was listed as a farmer in the 1850 Florence, Oneida NY Census.The family moved to Prince William,Occoquan VA in aprox.1860 once again listed as farmers.Emma does not show on the 1860 Va census.the family moved again to Alexandria Va. the 1870 census shows Ann widdowed and living with daughter Elizabeth and sons Edward, Joseph and Henry. James married Mary they had 3 daughters listed on the 1880 Alexandria census Ella, Mary and Maud. by 1900 edward is listed with Sarah as wife and 8 children, Annie,Susan,Lillian,Ettie,Benjamin,Richard,Bessie and Edward.all born in Alexandria Va.
Joseph married Sarah/Sallie Cleveland and had 7 sons and 1 daughter.
I have much data on Joseph and Sallie but almost none on the other children.

John and Elizabeth Oconnor from Ireland to US. came with 3 daughters named Elizabeth, Ellen and Mary to phila pa. arrived aprox 1853-1855. first child born in states was Richard born in 1855 in phila. next was william born 1858 in phila. Daughters worked at cotton mill in phila according to 1870 census. Son William Henry Connor(he dropped the "O" )married Mary Clara Hallowell whose parents were William Talmage Hallowell and Mary Clara Morton of Phila pa. any leads would be fantastic as I have no knowledge of what happened to any of the other children.

Edward and Ann Roberts came from england in aprox 1850-1855 with daughter elizabeth. sons james, joseph, edward, henry and another daughter elizabeth were born in NY. the family moved to VA by 1860 and ended up in alexandria by 1870. in 1880 Edward is gone from census but Ann is still alive. Joseph married sally ? and had at least 7 children all boys except one. one son harry married rachel marshall and had 3 children. a daughter mary elizabeth and twins john and annie. annie died young. rachel and children moved to phila accompanied by her mother and children to live with her brother thomas marshall after separating from harry. they were never divorced.I am looking for decendents of joseph roberts. sons named on 1880 census are as follows; everet, caleb, joseph and george. the 1900 alexandria census lists harry, mamie, norman and leslie in addition to the above. any info would be appreciated.
