HENRY BAXTER- who really is his father?

I am keen to learn more about my GGGrandfather Henry Baxter.
He was born in London married Sarah Jane Foster in Oct 1877 in New Zealand and made his home in New Zealand.
A copy of his Death Cert indicates his mother is Mary (surname unknown) father Henry and occupation Fellmonger.
However looking at the 1851 UK Census and 1861 UK Census there are no Henry Baxters with children Henry. It is thought that his father may have been John Baxter who in the 1851 Census was married to Mary Ann Baxter and his occupation is Currier which is similar to Fellmonger. One of the children on the census is a Henry aged 11mths which fits with our Henry.
Mary's maiden name was Robinson and she later died in 1855 when Henry would have been only 6 years old so that may be why there is no known maiden name for his mother on his death cert.
When Henry married one of the witnesses to the wedding was an Arthur Baxter occupation Currier. Again in the 1851 & later 1861 census two sons of Mary & John are Arthur and Henry.

I would be keen to hear from anyone who may be able to confirm this link for me.

JAMES WATSON Northern Ireland to New Zealand to where???

I have hit a major brick wall in my research for James Watson.
James was born 6 August 1866 in Ballarena (Artikelly Aghanloo) Londerry Northern Ireland.
His parents William Watson and Mary Toner.
He had siblings Anne, John, Alexander,Eliza, Matilda, Mary, Sarah, William, Mary and George.
They came to New Zealand in July 1874.

James Married Lillia (or Lila or Lilla) Bracey on 7 January 1896 in the Waimamaku Schoolroom. James was 28 years old, Lillia 21 years old. His occupation ? Carpenter, hers ? Domestic Duties. Lillia place of birth is listed as Canterbury NZ and her father Frederick Bracey ? Farmer and her mother Lilly Bracey nee Lloyd
Two of the witnesses appear to be Lillia relatives ? Willie Bracey and Lizzie Bracey.
James and Lillia had Frederick, Thelma and Phoebe.
After Phoebe was born in 1906 and sometime around this date James has disappeared from all New Zealand records. It was thought that he may have travelled to Australia or evn joined the merchant navy.
Does anyone have any information that may match our James Watson.

Thanks

BARROWMAN family of Cumnock NB Scotland

I have a family photograph believed to have been taken late 1800's or early 1900's. I think it is a Barrowman or Borrowman family.

On the bottom left corner is the photographers mark Andrew Miller Cumnock NB.

Does anyone recognise this photo, or know anything about the photographer or the family in the photo.

Thanks

DE JOUX Family in New Zealand

I am interested in any information about a Jim or James De Joux.
I understand he may have worked for a time in Takaka New Zealand helping to build a bridge around the late 1940's early 1950's.

I think during this time he may have boarded for a time with the Port Family in Takaka. His family may have been in the Akaroa or Christchurch area.

Any information about CLARA GREEN

Clara was born in New Zealand 1877. Parents believed to be George Green and Elizabeth Nelson.
She married William Nelson in Blenheim New Zealand on 6 May 1905.
Children Myrtle, Eva and Zelda.
It is thought that she may have had a "relationship' with Charles Hercules Robinson Thompson-Todd. Charles was born in New Zealand 3 May 1879.
Clara also had children Edna, Eleanor, Raymond and Clarence but not sure if William is the father.
Raymond has Clara and William listed on his death certificate as his parents but there is "rumour" among family that Charles may have been his father. Charels parents - William Thompson-Todd and Margaret Dessey. Margaret was born 1842 and married William Thompson Todd 1875. It is thought that she had been married prior to this and her married name may have been Voak.

Clara had siblings John, Arthur, Albert, Joseph Louisa and George.

Any information regarding Clara, William or Charles would be appreciated.
