Looking for John L Miller of Missouri

Query by lkfrench

I'm researching John L Miller. He was born in 1812 in Tennessee and later moved to Alabama. He married Francis "Fanny" Andrews there and they moved to Howell County, Missouri. Census records show them there in 1870. In the 1880 Census it shows Francis as head of household. It is believed he died around 1876-77. From there I've hit a dead end. I believe Spring Creek, Howell County, Missouri was close to Pottersville, Mo during that time frame. I would love to find any information about him and to know where he's buried. Any pictures would be wonderful.

I am also looking for Miller family. Although I think the line I am looking for mainly was in NY. The line comes from a John Miller who imigrated to the US from Germany in 1680. Any connection to yours? Hope you find the info your after.

I don't know but I'll look into it and see if I can find anything. I hope you have good luck in your search as well. If you learn anything, please let me know. The best I've been able to do thus far is trace him from Tennessee to Alabama to Missouri. There's a slight possibility that he could have been in Mississippi and/or Arkansas also for a short period of time. I'll just have to do some more digging. Thanks.
