Looking for the GIBBON family of Wick, Wales
Looking for William GIBBON, a carpenter from Wick, Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. He was married to Jane JENKINS in 1792. found in St James Parish transcripts.
Unble to find where he was born. Is he connected to GIBBON of Trecastle. Have checked other local parishes in records office but no luck. any ideas?
The descendants of William and Jane stayed in Wick until abt 1890. Their son, William married Mary JONES and became the owners of The Carpenters Arms, on Broughton road, once called Potato street. (1841 census)
If anybody needs information about the families in this area, i may be able to help. I have access to Glamorgan Records Office, which holds parish records and deeds for most of South Wales. UK.
Fitzgeralds of Doneraile
I am searching for my great grandafather, John Fitzgerald of Doneraile, Co.Cork. Ireland.
He married Bridget Mullane and they had a number of children, John, Margaret, Bridget, Mary, Ellen and Johanna.
I think that there may be a link to the nearby town of mallow.

I have recently discovered that all of the daughters eventually moved to Jersey, but am unable to find what happened to the son John.
Especially interested in the family of John Fitzgerald snr.
Looking for Phyllis Ellen Dobing of Northumberland
My great grandmother was born Phyllis Ellen Patterson in about 1887, Northumberland.
She married Charles Dobing in 1906, Tynemouth, northumberland. I think that she died in about 1916 but have no records.
They had one child, Ailsa, born 1910, Northumberland. Ailsa was told that her mother committed suicide but cannot fine her under any death records.
Phyllis was one of about 7 children. Her Father was John Patterson of the Northumberland area. Anybody recognise anything at all please contact.
