I am searching more specific details about William Charles HIGGS born 28 March 1815 in Kent, specifically his parents and siblings. He came to South Africa about 1835.

William Charles HIGGS went by the name Chas in South Africa. He must have arrived by ship but I cannot find the ship's name or any other details. I also don't know where in Kent he was born. I have all his history from landing in South Africa. He married twice; Sarah Ann Spiers (married 26 Oct 1835) died at age 20, shortly after the second child was born; he then married Catherine Emily Austen with whom he had 10 children.

Who is the parents of HIGGS, William Charles (b 28 Apr 1815 Kent)?

The first generation HIGGS I'm directly related to arrived in Cape Town in 1837 where he remained, married twice, and died in Burgersdorp, 2 Nov 1969.

I am keen to find out if any of his siblings also came to South Africa or migrated elsewhere - who were his siblings? Who were his parents?

Any information would be appreciated.
