I am trying to find out about my great uncle, Ken Lively, who was born about 1880 in Centre Rawdon, Hants County, Nova Scotia. He was the son of Reuben Francis Lively (1847-1919) and Lavinia (Colbert) Lively (1857-1902). He was the third of thirteen children. I really don't know very much about him. The information that I have is that he had married Bessie McPhee. I do not know if they had any family.

"Kenneth" was shown as eleven years old in the Canada census of 1891. By the time of the census of 1901, he had apparently left home and I could not find him in the immediate area through census records.

My mother was told that Uncle Ken died during World War I, when a fire broke out on a train car that had horses on it. I suppose that the horses were to have been taken to Europe.

I have looked all over to try to find some written record of this without any luck. As I only know that this would have happened between 1914 and 1918, and I do not know if this happened in Canada or the United States, it seems that it is a dead end.

I do know that many in this family had moved to other places. Among these places were Ontario, Canada; Massachusetts and Colorado, U.S.A.

There were many train accidents during "The Great War", and sometimes it might say that "x" number of people died, but not always were names listed.

Could it be that someone has this information? Did Uncle Ken have a family?
