His father was Charles Ferguson, born 1803 in Oneida, New York and died (don't know when) either in Wisconsin or in Minnesota. His mother was Catherine Vanderwarker, born around 1806 in New York (not sure about her death).

James was married three times:
Jane Matteson - 10/31/1848
Jane (?) - 1849 or 1850
Mary Goble - around 1877

His first two wives died before he did. He died in the Civil War in Meeker County, Minnesota. Does anybody have any information on him or his wife, Jane (?)? He's my gg grandfather.

His second wife, Jane (?) was my gg grandmother. The two of them had three children:

Mary Jane, born 1856 in Hartford, Washington Co., WI
Juliette, born 1859 in Hartford, Washington Co., WI. She died in 1899 in Sebastopol, Sonoma Co., CA.
William Henry

Juliette was my g grandmother.
