looking for Millers of Adelaide

My Grandmother was - Emily Louisa Miller, and her father was John
Charles Miller - whom I have just found was a convict sentenced in
Gloucester England for a term of 6 years, he was convicted, 12th Dec 1862. Transported on the 'Clara', Date of departure 28th January 1864, arriving in - Western Australia.

John Charles Miller married in Adelaide S.A. - 27/12/1865 to a 'Frances?' -- and my grandmother, Emily louisa Miller was born
29/10 1866. She eventually moved back to Western Australia and
married - Christopher James White in 1897.

Researching - Peter White, convict,

I have traced my family history back to Peter White, born 1820 in
Dublin Ireland. He was transported to Tasmania on the vessel, "Egyptian" - sailed from Dublin 19/8/1840 -- arriving Australia 12/12/1840.

Peter White married Winifred Cook - convict, from the vessel "Hope"
arriving Australia 1842, she was 18 years old. They married 27/4/1846.
and had four children.

Wasn't able to find 'any' parents for Peter White, but did find some
for wife, Winifred.

Would love to hear from anyone else researching this very mischievous
pair.

Looking for Mitchell family around Liskeard / Truro area

My name is Roslyn, and I'm from Australia. I have been looking around
sites in Liskeard and Truro, trying to search out the Mitchell family name.

My grandmother was born, Constance Kate Mitchell, born in March 1887
in Liskeard, Cornwall.

Her father was named - John Henry Mitchell, and was a signalman in 1910.

My grandmother once told me her religion was Methodist back then.
She also told me of living in Truro, and and strongly spoke of it as
home. (Her and her husband emigrated to Western Australia around 1923.)
