I am looking for any information on my Great Grandfather who married Elizabeth Daly in Carlisle in the year 1868, his name was William and he was stonemason born in Scotland, they had several children I think his father was called Thomas and he was a wood forester, also born in Scotland I think maybe around the Lochmaben area,I have been on several sites but can't seem to trace either of them on any records,I think William probably died in carlisle and his son my grandfather John George eventually settled in Holme, Nr Kendal.
