Looking for families of J WALTER BULL & GEORGE E BULL of Gisborne, NZ
Hoping to trace families of the above. They were born in Derby UK to WILLIAM BULL & JANE JOHNSTON. Came to Australia in 1870, then to NZ. JANE died at Gisborne in 1900, after coming from Bendigo, Vic, Australia, about 4 years earlier, according to the obituary in the "Poverty Bay Herald". Apparently there was a connection with the shipping pilot service in Gisborne, and also at Williamstown in Melbourne, Vic. Would be interested to know more.

JANE OATS and JAMES WILLIAMS were married at Pendeen in 1856, then came to Australia. Looking for the ship they arrived on.
Frazer of Tempo Ireland & Australia
Thomas Frazer arr in Australia, 1856, from Tempo, Ireland, and was accompanied by his nephew, Andrew Falls. He married Mary Waugh,in Melbourne (whose family had also come out from Tempo. They lived in the Barkstead area of Vic, before moving to the Raywood district, nth of Bendigo.

My gg grandparents were William Barrass & Margaret Absalom, m Earsdon,Numberland, in 1818. 4 of their children came to Australia, 3 settling in Bendigo, and 1 in Newcastle NSW.
