Trying to find some clues toward putting our family tree together. We are descended from Joseph Whittaker/Obedience Perdue, who settled in Wythe County Virginia. Early family scattered throughout southwest Virginia, but now, Who Knows?

I have traced lineage back to 1755 (Joseph Whittaker), born at sea. He was married to Obedience Perdue.
