HOLLOWAY FAMILIES of NC, GA, AL, MS, FL

Quakers, then Primitive Baptists. JOHN, Major, THOMAS, and WILLIAM HOLLOWAY of North Carolina were all Patriots and Soldiers of the Revolutionary War. Their children became teachers, lawyers, farmers, each contributing to the birth of this country. Thomas is buried on his land that is now a part of Eno River State Park near Durham, NC. Their father Vermillion and mother Martha are buried along with Thomas and some of his family on Thomas's land. Thomas's 19 children spread out across the country. So did the children of JOHN, Major, and WILLIAM. JOHN was born May 10, 1745(NC) and died at his son's home in Hall county GA in 1818. He was buried in Lake Church Cemetery in Candler county GA (once a part of Bulloch county) which was his home. I have found many records on the Holloways and am very proud of them. JOHN's son JEREMIAH, b. April 5, 1776(NC) d. Aug. 5, 1848 (AL, New Home Cemetery in Elba) is my direct link to JOHN.
