My research is stalled with the parents of Melatiah Martin who married Marilda Porter in Mass. Their son Horace Stephen Martin is my husband's ancester. I have found a Melatiah Martin who married a Mary Stephens in Thompson, Conn 22 April 1782, but can't make a connection. Can anyone help? I am always willing to share what I have.
