lorr on Family Tree Circles

Hi there, I'm starting my paternal family tree. Have not much to go on as my father is an only child with not much knowledge of his parents (both deceased). His father, John Thompson, was born in 1913 in England (not sure where) and at some point came to Canada. I believe it had have been around the late 30's early 40's as my father was born in 1942. Apparently my grandfather met my grandmother in Vancouver Canada at some point (they did marry). She was a Sioux Indian from Saskachtewan named Anne Marion Scott.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
