Looking for TN Sharp's related to two brothers, ERBIN SHARP(b. abt 1825) and AZARIAH SHARP(b. abt 1830). The brothers were born in TN and I am looking for their parents, who are unknown, or any other relatives.

In the 1850 census, ERBIN Sharp is living in Madison Township, Sevier County, TN with a family named COLE. Later that year he is in Madison, Sevier County, Arkansas and marries Elizabeth Dossey in November 1850. By 1854 they are living in Limestone County, TX. Subsequently, they move to Caldwell County TX where both Erbin and Elizabeth die in 1872 leaving several minor children to be raised by older siblings and Elizabeth's relatives. ERBIN SHARP is my gg grandfather and I have not found anyone in the family who knows anything about his parents or his life before 1850.

In the 1850 census, AZARIAH Sharp is living in District 14, Grainger, TN with the Archibald Mullens family (this census shows his birth abt 1828). By the 1860 census, AZARIAH is married to "F. Jane" and living with a young daughter in Limestone County, TX, near the family of his brother's wife, Elizabeth Dossey Sharp. By 1871 AZARIAH is in Caldwell County, TX where his brother ERBIN sells him 100 acres of land. In 1875, AZARIAH and his wife sell their farm and to date, I can find no record of them after that time. (Possible connection is a Martin E. Sharp listed in the 1880 census in Limestone County TX listed as "nephew" to W.J. Sharp (DNK who this is). His father is shown to have been born in TN. Also shown is a David Sharp also shown as "nephew" living in that home. It is only known that AZARIAH and F. Jane had one son, Martin E and a daughter Martha C.. Coincidentally, there is another MARTIN Sharp shown as "nephew" and living with the Clendennen family in Limestone County, TX but his father's birthplace is shown as Illinois. ) Hoping to find clues to ERBIN and AZARIAH's parents and family through this line!
