My grandfather was Perry George Brunk. He lived in Sequoyah co. Ok,
My grandmother was Ruth Viola Plank. They had 8 children. My mother was
their youngest child, Virginia Lee Brunk.
I'm looking for Brunk Family info.
plank in arkansas and oklahoma
My grandmother was Ruth Viola Plank, who was born 06,1898 I think in or
around northeastern oklahoma/northwestern arkansas area. Her father
was Jerry Plank, we think her mother's name was sarah gardinhaer, or
a similiar spelling. Her mother died when she was only 3. Her father
remarried a widow. She had a sister named Millie. Several Brothers, Jesse and Ransom are the only two that I remember.
She married Perry George Brunk in Sequoyah Co., Oklahoma and they had 8
children. Stanley,Jewel Virginia,Grace,Hazel,Pearl,James,Joe Perry and
Virginia Lee, my mother, was the youngest child.
No one has been able to find out anything about the Planks past Jerry
Plank.
Any help would be appreciated.

my husband's grandmother was Martha Safrana Lavada Cagle who was born 02/01/1902 in alabama. She said they came to Oklahoma Territory in a wagon in
in 1904. She said her father and mother were native american and had
been persecuted in Alabama. When they got to Oklahoma her father just
told everyone they were black dutch. She had many brothers and sisters. . We have no idea where in Alabama that they lived.
She married Edgar J. Brewer in Haskell Co. , OK. She had 6 children, my
mother in law was Ruby Brewer Pike, her daughter.
