A pleasant little ceremony took place at Messrs Sargood, Son, and Ewen's when Miss Jessie Newenham, who is leaving the staff on account of her approaching marriage, was presented with a handsome silver tea service and silver-mounted oak tray, suitably engraved. The manager, Mr C. G. Wilson, made the presentation, and expressed the good wishes of the donors of the gift

Evening Post, 6 March 1923 A pleasant party was given by Mrs T. Bedford, of Seatoun, in honour of her sister, Miss Jessie Newenham, whose marriage takes place shortly. Many pretty gifts of china were offered to the bride-elect

... The wedding was solemnised at St Mark's Church, Wellington, on 7th April, of Miss Jessie Mary Newenham, third daughter of Mrs and the late Mr W. H. Newenham (and grand-daughter of the late Commander Newenham, R.N.), and Mr John Morris Calcinai (1892-1964) - both of Wellington. The Ven Archdeacon Johnson officiated.
The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr W. E. A. Newenham, Britannia Heights, Nelson, wore a charming gown of white satin grenadine, with touches of apricot pink orange blossoms, and a beautiful veil lent by Mrs Rupert Meates, Melbourne.
The chief bridesmaid, Miss Zeta Blackmore, wore a pretty gold satin frock and net hat, wreathed with autumn leaves, and bouquet in keeping. Little Miss Joyce Bedford, niece of the bride, who was train-bearer, wore a dainty frock of sky blue net. Miss Edna Gigger, niece of the bridegroom, was in shell pink crepe-de-chine, and carried a posy of flowers.
Mr H. W. Morris was best man. Mr L. Watkins was at the organ.
The reception was held at 'Rostellan', Broadway, Seatoun, the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs T. H.C. Bedford.
Later Mr and Mrs Calcinai left by motor, the bride travelling in a nigger brown coat frock and hat of Iriental satin and brown feathers

William served in WWI twice as Sergeant 43618 with the NZEF. He embarked 20 Aug 1917 & 19 March 1918. His next of kin was his wife Elizabeth at 72 Oriental Bay, Wellington

... Dulcie May was born 16 May 1906 to John Eric (1870-1955) & Elizabeth Emma (1883-1972) BERGSTON (she had a sister, Nita Lillian Bergstrom (1901-2005) who married Murdo Alexander McRae (1894-1963) in 1920), did her parents change their name to Johnstone??.
There was a John Erick Bergstrom who died in Grey Lynn, Auckland 8 Nov 1918 aged 86

in 1931 Dulcie May Newenham remarried to Archibald Lyall Gilbert Coulter in Napier

Evening Post, 4 February 1944 Mr W. E. Newenham of Nelson, has been advised that his son, William A. Newenham, D.F.C., has been promoted to the rank of flight lieutenant. Mr Newenham's three sons are in the forces overseas and he is on home service with the R.N.Z.A.F.

Dominion, 10 June 1912 NEWENHAM On the 9th June 1912, at the Wellington Hospital, William Henry Newenham, late of Defence Department, Wellington, N.Z., elder son of the late Commander Newenham, R.N., aged seventy years
... The death occurred at the Hospital yesterday of Mr William Henry Newenham, elder son of the late Commander Newenham, R.N., at the age of seventy. Deceased joined the Armed Constablulary in September, 1881, and after some years he was transferred to the Permanent Force, with the rank of gunner, where he remained until December, 1905. During the time he spent in the Permanent Artillery, his servies were availed of in the clerical branch. He held the Imperial and New Zealand long service and good conduct medals
