Francis ‘Frank’ M. Eisenman, 78
COLUMBIANA - Francis 'Frank' M. Eisenman, of Columbiana, went home to be with His Lord on April 3, 2015 after a fearless battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 78.
Frank was born on Dec. 19, 1936 in Olean, New York, a son of Francis and Rosalind Eisenman.
He graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Dennison, Ohio in 1954. Following graduation, Frank served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1963 as an aerial photographer. Upon discharge, he moved to California and attended the Art Center School in L.A. He then went to work at Data Corporation in Dayton where he developed negatives for NASA. From 1971 to 1999 he was a truck driver for Anchor Motor Freight where he touched many lives along the way.
Frank continued his passion for art and photography over the years, winning awards for photography and having art exhibits at libraries and churches. He visited the Butler Art Museum of Youngstown almost weekly. He also enjoyed music, theology, men's ministries, and maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
As a born again Christian, and patriarch of his family, Frank had affiliations with Abundant Life Fellowship in New Waterford since 1984 and The Lord's Community Church in East Liverpool since 2011. He instilled love, kindness, and integrity into his daughters and grandchildren as he encouraged their walks in faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marsha (Myers) Eisenman whom he married May 21, 1964. Also surviving are five cherished daughters, Bambi Eisenman, Anna Frantz, Heather (Kurt) Lindsley, Rachel (Jason) Eisenman, and Rebekah Eisenman; sisters Rosalind (Dave) Hooker, Edie Walsh, and Ellen (Fran) Eisenman; 12 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mark, and brother-in-law Joe Walsh.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday April 7 at Abundant Life Fellowship, 46469 OH-46, New Waterford, OH 44445. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday April 6 at Abundant Life Fellowship and also one hour before services.
Interment will follow at New Waterford Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in Frank's memory to Lord's Community Church, 519 Jackson Street, East Liverpool, Ohio 43920.
