I am seeking connections to this family, the head being Samuel Watson Gardner who owned a Linen Drapers shop in Belfast in the 1880/90s.
He was married to Mary nee Johnston, they had the following children.
1 Samuel Watson Gardner b 1876 died in infancy.
2. Samuel John Gardner b 1877 died in infancy.
3. Thomas James Johnston gardner b 1879, became Sea Capt died in Bermuda.
4.Albert Haithwaite gardner b 1881, became Sea Capt died in shipwreck off Nova Scotia.
5 William Henry Dean gardner b 1883, became Sea capt, had family in N.Z & Australia died in Sydney.
6 Lilly Manley Gardner b 1885 married a James Boyles.
7 Samuel Caldwell gardner b 1888 came to Dewsbury, Yorkshire on being orphaned.
Prior to this family I have knowledge that they descended from the Ballinderry area of N Ireland.
