Hi I am new to this research and don't have alot to go on, but my dad's family is from Tennessee and my grandfather was George Washington Tharpe Jr. and grandmother was Jessie Alford Parks. There children were Claude(deceased), Jessie, Mary(Lucille), Ralph(deceased), Joseph, George(deceased), Leon(deceased), Wendell, Glen, Agnes(deceased). I'm not sure of others that are deceased except Jessie(my dad) is living. So my gg grandfather was George Washington Tharpe. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
