Mount Zion Chapel, Heanor

Journal by Honeybun70

My greatx4 grandparents were Robert Hardy & Fanny Trueman. On their marriage certificate it says that they were married in Mount Zion Chapel, Heanor on 25th December 1840. I cannot find any information on the above Chapel and would be grateful if anyone knows anything about it - I have been trying to find a photograph of it!??

Hi Lesley,
Thank you for writing, since I wrote the above,I found the Heanor History Society online and wrote to them. I bought one of their books which has some pictures of Marlpool in it. Another bit of history added on to my family tree!
