I'm looking for my Mother and Fathers blood families. Both of my parents were adopted. I have a Certified Copy of my fathers Birth Record. It states that his name was Ambrose Roggie, born 12/8/1917 at St. Agnes home in West Hartford, Ct. USA. His mother's name was Pauline Roggie age 23. She was born in Italy and lived in East Haddam, Ct. when she gave birth. It has his father's name as Annuzio Boulla of South America that's all the information. I have no idea if the names are right.
My mother only has a Certificate of Baptism. It has her name as Catherine Woronczyk born in Philadelphia, Pa. USA on 10/30/1917 and Baptized on 5/21/1918. It has her mother's name as Mariana Woronczyk her sponsors were Gabriel Kimutis and Constance Maciunas. Rev. Ignatius Zimblys was the priest. I have no idea if these names are right. I have four Certificates and each one the names are spelt different.
I know my family (brothers and sister and I) have very good genes because we have marking on us that were passed down to our kids but I would love to know more about my blood relatives for health reasons. I would very thankful if there was someone out there that can give me some kind of information on my family or how I can begin my search. Thank you so much for reading my thoughts.
